0000441: Can not save INI files in background build step
It is not possible to save INI files at background compilation. If you try to save a INI file while build then you can not access the IDE until the save is finished (it waits for finishing background processes and shows the modal background process list dialog).

This is an Eclipse Platform / CDT thing, and cannot be easily fixed. Eclipse (more precisely, probably CT) locks the workspace during build, so one cannot save ANY file during build. There isn't much we can do about it in the OMNeT++ IDE code.
