Summary | 0000267: Column position in IDE and column position reported by compiler are sometimes inconsistent |
Description | The C++ compiler treats characters such as tabs and so on as a single character column when reporting compilation errors.
The IDE text editor uses the tab size for column value and there 'appears' to be no way to configure it.
Trivial issue, but would speed up and give greater confidence identifying the precise point at which the compilation/parsing failed.
